Simonton Window Replacement Part

Home Owner from Michigan
Hello. The double hung window in my son's bedroom will not stay up. As you can see from the photos, I identified some broken parts. I attached 4 photos? 2 from a good window and 2 from my son's bad window. The Simonton windows came with my new construction house that is about 11 years old. The label on the window has a few different numbers: D0187, 1108150133, 07770363130001, FBSHTVIV441.313x30.125

I think I need to purchase 2 new could balances, but I do not know where to find the part number.

Thank you,
John

Hello,

Unfortunately, the mold number on the original hardware does not indicate the correct replacement parts. I believe that we can supply the parts that you need but we would need to see photos of your coil springs and the pivot shoe that they attach to removed from the window to compare to our inventory. See the video below to help you through the process. Thank you!

Hello. Thank you for the response. Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. I removed the balance. Unfortunately, it was pretty broken and it came apart when I removed it. Please see if the attached photos will help identify a potential replacement part. In case it is hard to see in the photos, the 3 coils have the numbers of PAT 5232208, 35" and 4.0

Thanks for getting back to us. Take a look and compare the specifications of the 15-199 pivot shoe, which is compatible with the 1/2" wide S160 or 3/8" wide S165 coil springs, to your parts. Once you determine the correct coils for your window, you can find the compatible covers under the related items section of our product pages.
