Simonton coil balances / tilt latcg

Question

Hello i have this small Simonton window that needs the coil balances replaced. Not sure what info i need to get the part number or if its even fixable . And I also provided the measurement for the tilt latch. It is 2 7/8 long.

Hello there. I do think we can help. The pivot shoe looks like the 15-199. This shoe works with either 3/8" thick Series 165 Coil Balance springs, or the 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil balance springs sold separately. You'll need to remove the old springs and measure the thickness to know which you have. As far as obtaining the right spring weights for the replacement coils, see the second video below.
