Simonton sash support coil balance

I need the above named part including housing, barrels, coils, etc. for complete replacement. Attached photos show the part, whioch contyailns no visible numbers or indentifying marks.

Thanks for posting. This old Simonton coil balance system is no longer made. Fortunately you can replace it with the 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balance springs. See the video below for details.

Thanks! I assume I will need all the parts mentioned in the video, right down to the pivot bars. Pleae corredt me if I am wrong. I also assume this single coil spring is enough to support the window that required to springs originally.

Hey Jim. Since the Series 159 springs are calibrated a little differently, the best thing to do is to weigh the window sash that these coil springs support. Give me that exact weight and I can work out what you need. Also see the video below.

Great! in that case you could use just two of the S159-12 12.5 pound springs, one for each side of the sash. This would equal 25 pounds of support overall. Let me know if you have further questions!
