Simonton window parts

Question

Simonton double hung windows. 2 of them have problems with the bottom sash not staying open. For one, the top sash falls down as soon as it's unlocked. The shoe in the photo is broken; I assume this is the same for the others. Unfortunately there are no part numbers marked.

Your balance assembly resembles an older Simonton style that is no longer made. We recommend converting to the 15-259 pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 159 coil springs.
