Hi -- I have Simonton vinyl windows that are about 12 years old. The plastic part of the pivot shoe in several windows has split. Will the 15-259 pivot shoe replacement part generally work well with Simonton windows?

Hello, thank you for posting,

Before we can confirm if the 15-259 pivot shoe can replace your balance assembly, are you able to show us pictures of the original? Simonton uses a few different styles and we cannot confirm from the sticker provided. Thank you!

You have an older style Simonton balance assembly that is no longer made and we recommend converting to the 15-259 pivot shoe and Series 159 coil springs. Please review the step by step video below that details the conversion and additional parts needed.
