Single Arm Casement operator

A contractor from 60453 says:
Hello,
I am trying to find a replacement part for an older model of casement window. We order parts from a different distributer per their recommendations and they do not fit. I am hoping someone from your team can be of better assistance.

The first picture is the original that is broken. Other pictures are the new ones ordered in comparison to the old. The end "knob" that goes into the window track is too thick. Also, our casements are front mount.

Unfortunately I need these parts ASAP as the closing date on the property is April 30th.

I can be reached at 708-737-4140.

Thank you,
Lisa

It seems like you have the old style Bilt-Best window, which was made around 1968. This operator is unfortunately no longer available. It's just too old.

Looking at your photos, I suggest using something like the 39-013 operator with a 13-1/2"  arm, along with a new handle like the 39-205 and a 39-533 sash track. However take note that you will need to alter your existing sill cover or make up a new one to compensate with the different shape of the new operator body.

Let me know if you have any questions about my suggestion.
