Hello,

Take a look at the 26-243 and 26-244 latches with the bottom locking clip set back at 3/16" off the bottom edge. Also consider the 26-419 and 26-420 with the locking clip back set at 3/8" off the bottom edge. Review the description of these parts, along with the related video. Thank you!

I am pretty sure that this is the latch that I need but I am unsure of the 3/16" set back or the 3/8" set back. I have a latch that is broken in pieces and some of the pieces are gone. Does the set back matter that much?
How do I know which one I should buy?

Hello,

The backset of the locking tab is one of the more important dimensions when choosing a tilt latch. You'll need to remove an undamaged latch to get an accurate measurement to choose the correct replacement. Thanks for posting.
