Slider Door Lock

A quick learner from Ocean Park, WA says:
I had previously sent pictures of the inside and outside of the slider door handle, the first two pictures, and ordered a lock based on the recommendation. The problem is the inside (guts) of my door handle does not look like others I had seen in the videos. See next two pix. Does this mean I should order a whole new handle and lock assembly? And is this something you can supply? Thank you!

Thanks for posting. I see you originally posted here. As Paul said, I think the 82-310 could work fine replacing if you just need to replace your old key lock cylinder; the inner mechanisms are going to appear different, since this is handle features its own safety latch rather than the larger internal mortise locks used by some of our other handle sets.

The only thing you might have to do is to cut the key tail down on the new lock. The key tail is the long tip of the key lock cylinder. You want it to be just the right length to engage with your handle set.
