Thanks for posting, Edgar. I'm not positive, but our 82-260 may work. Check it out and let me know what you think. The dimensions seem to match up. What kind of keeper did the old lock use? Did it look anything like our 82-249?

Dave,
Thanks. I'm not certain about the keeper. Could I simply order the 82-260 with the comparable keeper and install it in the existing sliding door?
This item will be installed in a property located in FL.
Thanks.
Take care,
Edgar

The only thing that makes me worry is how deep a keeper you need. The depth of the 82-249 is 1/2". That might be enough, but you won't know until you try it. That's why replacing hardware without having the originals on hand is so tricky!

Dave,
Attached is a picture of the keeper, etc. What parts do you recommend, so I could order them?
By the way, what is your direct number?
Thanks.
Take care,
Edgar

Thanks, Edgar. Compare your keeper to our 82-249 and see if the dimensions line up. That keeper works with the 82-249 mortise latch, so keep that in mind, as well. All orders can be placed directly on our site.
