Sliding Door Handle/Lock Help

Question

I ordered the SURFACE MOUNT HANDLE SET, 6-9/16" Product Code: 82-036 which arrived today. It works as far as sizing and mounting, but the lock is different and I figured I could still use the lock that came with the new handle. I cannot due to the clearance of the door frame.

Any idea on what handle/lock mechanism I would need for an inside jamb mounted lock like the pictures?

Hello,

It looks like the 82-078 that you purchased would be the best replacement option for your original handle set. If that will not work as a replacement, the only other recommendation that we would make would be to use a surface-mounted handle like our 82-005 but it would require drilling new holes for installation. Take a look at our video to see if this could work as a better replacement for your door. Thank you!
