Sliding Glass Door Handle and Locking Mechanism

Handy Person from NJ
The lever on the sliding glass door handle will not stay in the down (locked) position. I am quite sure I need to replace the locking mechanism. So if you can positivel identify the part I need that would be great. Also if you think i need a new handle, lemme know :)
I also know I have to replace the wheels it rides on, but getting the door out so I can identify and photo the wheels is on my list when the weather gets a little warmer.

Thanks for posting. See our 82-226 Mortise Lock. This looks like yours, but compare to confirm. Your handle set looks undamaged to me--you might just want to check the thumb lever to make sure it isn't broken. If it is, you could replace it with the 82-106. The handle set replacement is the 82-030.

Finally, yes, it is necessary to remove the rollers for us to see to identify the right replacement. You can certainly wait for the weather to turn to do this. Read more about sliding glass door maintenance below, and let us know if you have any questions.
