Handles with Latch Locks Andersen? Circa 1972

Home Owner from Bloomington, IN

I am looking for replacement sliding glass door handles with "latch" locks. House was built in 1972; I thought they were Andersen but now am not sure (local Andersen dealer did not recognize, but said they might be pre-1970).

5 1/4" between screws; piece that goes on door directly is 71/4" in lenth, 1" width. Handle itself is 9". Metal; handle has a wood insert to match wooden sliding glass doors (oak).

One is broken, another about to break, so would need a few, if possible.

Cannot find name of manufacturer anywere on door.

Not sure "latch" is right word --lock is a lever that hooks to something within door.

THANKS!!Bill (Bloomington, IN)

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement handle set with 5-1/4" hole spacing. Our best replacement option would be to see if you could use a surface-mounted handle set like the 82-005 for your repair. Just keep in mind that you would need to drill new installation holes to accommodate the 4-15/16" hole spacing. We can't make any guarantees but see the video below to determine if this could work for your application. Thank you!
