Sliding Glass Door Issue

Quick Learner from Phoenix AZ
Hi, I am having an issue with my 80+ year old mom's sliding glass door. The kind that has the internal blinds in them. She had the little locking lever break several months ago & we tried to get it replaced with a new handle & lock that went into the door piece ok but when we went to lock it we found the problem. the new handle & lock has only 1 piece that reaches out and grabs the door jam, the old one had 2 so it doesn't match up. The old one was sent back & I am looking for a completely new handle, lock & door jam piece that all match or a new door handle & lock that has the 2 pieces that reach out & lock on the door jam.
Is this something you have & I can buy or can you direct me to it? Her door has been un-secured for over a month now & need to fix ASAP. The problem is she lives over 140 miles away & it is hard to get this fixed going back & forth.

Hello,

I would recommend starting by comparing the 82-086 keyed or 82-089 non-keyed handle sets with 3-15/16" installation holes to the assembly shown in your photos. As for the mortise lock, see the 82-265, which has two locking hooks that engage with the 82-249 keeper. Review the dimensions below to confirm if they match your mom's original hardware. Thanks for posting!

I will check the measurements on her door & look into getting those.
