QC-PASS 2777-00 6/30/10 Need the outside plate The end broke off. I can buy the entire lock if you can match it.

Take a look at the 82-260 mortise latch and see if it matches up to yours. If your mortise latch is still in good working order, I would save it for later repairs.

Is the 82-260 recessed in the door? Mine is in 3 pieces, the lock, the outside plate that holds the lock, and the pocket plate.

Yes, the 82-260 is recessed in the door. Otherwise the door wouldn't be able to close! As long as the measurements match up with yours I think it's a good bet.
