Sliding Glass Door latch

I need a replacement for a latch on a vinyl door, 12 inches center to center. The old lock consists of a cover plate and a mortise lock 1 1/16 inches deep (see photos). I ordered part number 82-239 because the screws on the mortise lock are on 9 7/8 inch centers, but it does not work. Which part do you recommend?

I think our 82-260 would be a better match for your original mortise. This has the same kind of face plate as your original. Look it over and let me know if you agree.
