Sliding Patiio Door

Handy Person from Los Angeles
Hi Swisco team, I am looking for parts for my patio door.
It measures 3-15/16" and I can't tell if it is centered or offset.
Do you have anything that could fit?

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm a bit confused with the hardware shown here. Your mortise lock looks like the 82-238. This is typically used with the 82-081 handle set where the installation hole center spacing is 4-15/16". You say your handle has 3-15/16" hole center spacing but it looks like your door stile has holes that are elongated. I suggest you remove the mortise lock and compare the design and specifications with ours to see if the 82-238 is in fact what you have. Also, take a look at the specifications for the 82-081 and see if you think this could fit your patio door.

Hi Dave, I measured again. The Handle is 3-15/16" and the mortise lock is 7-7/8"
Here are a couple photos. Thanks in advance!

I wonder if your handle and mortise lock could be an older version of the 82-081 with 3-15/16" hole center spacing. I recommend you remove the internal mortise lock in the door and measure the holes that go through the body of the lock. See if the hole centers are 3-15/16". Also, check the hole where the turn lever goes to activate the lock. Does that hole take a thumb turn like the 82-106 or one like the 82-240?
