Sliding aluminum window Lock

Question

Window lock fits through a mortise in the aluminum frame of the slider. Push/pull plastic inserts into the frame of the fixed window.

Thanks for writing in! We do not have this exact window latch but our senior experts have suggested using the 90-016 Sliding Window Latch in the past. It uses a lever to engage the locking pin with the stationary sash.

There are no guarantees that it will work as a replacement but it is worth considering. Carefully look over the diagram below to see if this can work for the repair.
