Sliding door latch

A home owner from Hailey, ID says:
Trying to determine if either the 82-005 or 82-009A would work on my aluminum framed sliding door. Cannot determine the brand but age is approximately 1985-87. The clasp lock closure affixes on the frame. See attached photos. The hole measurements are the 4 15/16".

Thank you.

Hello! Looking at your photos, I think our 82-009A is a better match. This has the same "clamp" style latch as your original, which attaches directly to the door frame. The 82-005 uses a hook style latch which instead attaches to a keeper. I don't think you'd have the space to install such a keeper on your door so it's best to stick with the clamp style to be safe.
