The locking mechanism on this door is getting stuck in the lock position. It seems like it may be that the small square button is not getting depressed all the way which releases the locking mechanism.

Hey there. Your mortise lock looks similar to the 82-265 or 82-239. Compare to see if one of these match what you have. For the handle set, if yours is undamaged you can reuse it--otherwise see the 82-030.
