Sliding door locks

Contractor from MD
Hi,

They are 15/16" wide and exactly 7" tall.. Doors are 45 or so years old. You can see a contractor tried to retrofit something and it didn't work. I need both a left hand and right hand one.

Thank you,

Bill

Take a look at our 82-001, Bill. Compare the dimensions and see if this matches your old handle set.

It's close. Mine is 7" and yours in 6 5/8". Do you have a right hand and left hand version? I need one of each?

Maybe I can help! I do believe looking at your photos that you have a Crossly brand patio door. Look at the parts listed from the web site: our 81-001, 82-001, 82-001K, 88-002, and 89-004. See if you can use these; I think the handle set should work fine given your door's brand, but see what you think. As for the door being Left or Right handed, all you need to do is to "flip" the hook around to the location you need.

Thanks, I sent my last email before thinking. I installed one of the locks and it works perfectly. A previous contractor had lengthened the old hole by 1/2" and thrown away the old keeper so I had to order a keeper but that should get the new one working perfectly too.

Excellent. Let us know if you need anything else, and thanks a lot for considering our business. We appreciate it!
