We have 50 units with sliding glass doors. Some of the latches lock when a user steps onto their deck, locking them out. This is a problem, especially since some of our residents are in their 80s and live on the third floor.
I have received your 82-265 Mortice lock. It fits the opening in the door perfectly. Do you have a similar one that will allow us to use our current strike plate. A rough diagram of our plate is sketched below
