Sliding glass door

Question

The handle and lock set seems like it is part of the door. Is there a way to get it out and replace it? The lock mechanism is jammed on a broken screw.

Thanks for posting! Your handle appears to be the 82-086 Legacy Keyed Handle Set and the compatible mortise lock, the 82-265 Multi-Point Mortise Lock. Carefully review and compare their dimensions to your handle to determine if these could work as a suitable replacement.

The handle and lock set should be able to be removed from the the door frame. Although, before removing the handle, you'll need to reattach the faceplate to the mortise lock so that the lock does not fall into the door frame.
