Sliding glass door double mortise lock replacement

Quick Learner from Swansea,MA
There are no marking whatsoever on the latch/lock, other than "Pat. Pend." Which obviously isn't helpful. I've supplied dimensions in hopes you can tell me exactly what part I need. As of this morning, I was unable to lock my siding glass deck door and upon inspection, a small piece of broken metal fell out of the lock. Thus, I need a replacement but there seem to be many similar options out there with the most minimal differences in dimensions so I'm not entirely sure which I need.

Thank you!

Start out with having a look at our 82-265 double hook mortise lock. Carefully review our measurements and see if this is worth considering.

Thank you. Manuela. I was looking at this item the other day and it appears as though it might be the correct part. I just noticed your return policy and I may just go ahead and order this and if it doesn't work out, I can always return it and try another. Thank you!

OK so the Multi-Point keeper that was already installed on my slider doesn't match up 100% with the 82-265 double hook mortise lock. So I think if I buy the 82-249 multi-point keeper, I should be all set as that should work perfectly with the 82-265 lock.

Does that sound correct?

I agree. As long as the 82-265 mortise actually installs in your door, then at that point all you need to worry about is what it latches to. We can tell you for a fact that it latches to the 82-249 keeper, so this plan makes sense to me.
