Sliding glass door latch

I bought a sliding glass door about 6 years ago from Home Depot and the latch is broken , I have been unable to find a replacement for it , faceplate is around 11 3/4 total length

The lock fit perfectly but the keeper didn't, it's not the same depth as the old one and won't reach the latch

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Have you tried adjusting the mortise hooks? If you turn the screws next to either hook, they will extend further out (or retract, as the case might be).

When you install new mortises of any kind, you usually have to adjust them after installation to ensure they align with the keeper.
