Sliding glass door lock

Question

I ordered the 82-265 and installed it with little issues. I have found that the plate on the door frame does not mate up to the upgraded part I received. I need to get the part that goes on the door frame to get it to lock properly. Can you please help me find this part.

Thanks for posting. The 82-249 is the compatible keeper with the 82-265. Replacing the keeper does often solve this issue with this particular setup--see the dimensions below. Alternatively, if you pack out your old keeper with washers, it may make up the difference and allow it to align properly with the mortise lock. Let me know if you have questions.
