Sliding glass door roller

This is a caterpillar roller from our door. I'm searching for a replacement. This type of roller I'm told, is no longer made.

Thanks for posting. These old 'tank tread' rollers are no longer made. However, we've had people successfully use the 81-279 as a replacement. The adjustment screw sits a little higher than on your old roller, but the wheel runs nicer than the noisy treads. Let us know what you think.

I have a similar issue. Is the replacement you listed suitable for all of these styles, or would it be based on sizing of the existing roller carriage?

In our experience, the 81-279 is the best possible replacement. See the dimensions below. Keep in mind that the adjustment screw is a little higher and you may have to lift the edge of the door and angle the screwdriver up to reach the screw, but, again, the wheel should roll smoother than the tank treads.
