Sliding glass door roller

Home Owner from Ben Lomond, CA

I have a couple older (25-yrs) sliding glass doors, and the rollers are starting to wear out. Please see attached photos of the roller assembly in the door, and removed. The marking on the roller says "PRODUCT OF DEL MAR ENG CO, LONG BEACH CA, PAT 3,670,357"

The part is 5/8" wide at the wheel end, and 9/16" wide at the "toe" end. There are nibs 1/16" wide on each side

I found the part "81-148" in your online catalog and ordered two of them (pic also attached), thinking this looked like an exact match. However, they are too wide at each end (11/16") not counting the nibs. So they're too wide for the slot at the bottom of the door.

Is there a better part to replace this old roller wheel assembly? The 81-148 won't fit in the door.

Thanks!

Hello,

I would start by looking at our 81-139. Carefully compare our dimensions to yours and see if this would work as a replacement. Also, you can view our return policy here if you'd like to return the rollers you purchased for store credit toward another order. Thank you!

Hi Casey, that looks like the exact part. I've ordered 2 to try out, and have already returned the previous ones
Thanks!

Casey, just want to report that those are the exact parts (81-139) I needed and I replaced both rollers in my door and it's rolling like new! Thank you very much for your help!
