Sliding track piece

First of all, do you own the KK brand? If so, can you replace the plastic track pieces circled? One is broken such that cord can't attach. They are all too tight though and I wonder how that might happen and how I could fix it. Thanks!

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. No, we don't own the KK brand. The track piece in question resembles some kind of pivot shoe but too much of it is obscured by the jamb. Can you remove it from the window and show us some photos?

Thank you for waiting while we looked further into this! I'm afraid the balance shown in your photos is no longer available. The best we can offer is our Series 770 balance and 15-129 pivot shoe but this is by no means a guarantee it will work for you. We can't say how well it will work for this application or if it even will, unfortunately. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

If this is something you're interested in, you will need to measure the metal channel to determine the length and weigh the window sash to determine the proper spring strength option.
