Our house is fitted with vinyl replacement windows from the late '80s. Most are sliders and have pop out slide stops. I haven't removed any, but I have a broken one that offers a glimpse as to the size & shape of the openings. I estimate the rectangular opening to be 3/8"x 2-3/8"
Any help is greatly appreciated.
