I'd  like to repair with an understanding of how this #7 spring attachment.   I would also like to purchase the spreader  tool also hence the broken plastic.

Hey there. This looks like a 15-087 Pivot Shoe. The bracket would be the 16-024. For the spring, see the S180-07 7 pound spring.

For the jamb spreaders, see the 75-069. However you also ought to be able to remove and replace this setup via the cutout method. See how it's done for a similar coil system below.
