Special order Loewen balance request

Quick Learner

I would like to buy balances for my Loewen single-hung tilt windows.I think I need to special order because they are nearly thesame as the S751-37 (36TG), but mine have smooth (non-ribbed) channels.

Here are the details:Type: Loewen single-hung tilt windowOverall window: 39"w x 67"hSash: 39"w x 40"hSash weight: 39 lbs

Length of metal channel: 37" (almond if available)Shoe: 15-014 Knife Lock Shoe (natural if available)Upper S-Clip: 2 1/8"l x 3/8"w

Q. Can you make a smooth channel balance with these features?

I have attached a few images of a working balance. The tapemeasure is for relative scale.

I would like to purchase 4 balances to start as well asa few parts:

19-030 - Long S-Clip - Qty 426-150 - Cam Pivot Pair - Qty 5 pairs

Hello there!

At first glance, this does look like our Series 751 balance. However, your metal channel is indeed squared off, not ribbed. That's an important difference.

We can help, but this will have to be a custom order. We basically just take parts from our stock to assemble a functional replacement. We'll use our S770-37, but swap out the metal tab at the bottom for our 15-014 shoe. There will also be a rivet in the top hole, so you'd need the 19-029 short S-clip (sold separately). The stamp will be 37G for a sash weighing 37 to 40 pounds.

I will email you a purchase link for (4) balances that you can use to place an order on our website. Please note that the S-clips and pivot bars aren't included in the purchase link, so don't forget to add your needed quantity to your cart separately. I also want to mention that the metal tab on the 15-014 is flat. However, we've seen other versions where the metal tab is rounded. If that's the case for your shoe, we can't promise our replacements will work.

Note that the metal channel will be white, which is the best we can offer, and we cannot promise the Natural color option for the knife shoe. There is also a 5-6 week lead time.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
