Replacement balance and plastic carrier for my window

A home owner from Cranston, Ri says:
Hello, my window came out of the balance and the plastic part detached for the metal piece. The window was really tough to pull down on one side. I think both parts need to be replaced.

Hello to you as well! We can definitely help with this project. If I'm understanding you properly, you're dealing with a spiral balance and a pivot shoe. The bearing at the end of the spiral balance cracked when the spiral balance disengaged from the shoe. Is that about right?

I would start by looking at our Series 600 spiral balance. This might be a match for yours, though make sure to check the diameter of your tube. If it's 9/16" or 5/8", then the Series 600 is what you want. If it's anything else, let me know.

You'll also need to check your dimensions for the pivot shoe. We have a couple different kinds. Just eyeballing yours, it looks real close to our 15-046, which is 1/2" thick and 1-1/4" wide. If yours matches those specs then I think you'll be good to go!

Let me know if you had any questions.
