Spiral Balance

Hello there. If the outer tube is 9/16" in diameter and 26" long, then choose the S600-26. To know what color tip to select, weigh the window sash these spiral balances support. You can use that exact weight to choose the correct color option. Let me know if you have further questions.

For a 15.8 pound sash, you can use either a red or blue tip option. For the pivot shoe, we would need to see the original removed from the window channel with written out dimensions of the width and thickness. Thank you!

Please review the dimensions of the 15-118 pivot shoe below to confirm a good fit!

If the other shoe is in good shape, you do not have to change it out, but if you are changing out both balances, it would not hurt to change out the shoe as well since you are already doing the repair. 

For the balance, we do recommend changing both at the same time as pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out faster.
