Spiral Balance help

Question

I have some 20 year old M&I Windows series 300 with spiral window balance failures. They are 36" X 72" single hung non tilting. Didn't understand exactly how they worked at first but now think I can change them. They are 30" long and 3/8" diameter. Not sure what the color the tip was. I would need several balance rods but have a question. ?Do all of the window balance systems use a separate bracket at the bottom of the window? Joe Bond

Thanks for posting. Can you confirm the diameter of your balance's outer tube? As long as it's 3/8", then you can use our Series 400 spiral balance with a red tip color option. Look this part over and let me know if you had any questions.
