Spiral balance for wooden windows

A quick learner from Nj says:
The spiral balance tube is 27 inches long and 3/8 of an inch in diameter, The problem I'm having is with this small foot on the bottom of the spiral balance which measures 2 1/2 inches approximately. Most of the other spiral balances don't have this food that's attached with a rivet

Hello,

Your photo shows an old-style balance with the sash bracket riveted to the spiral, which is not how balance manufacturers make these nowadays. We do offer the S400-27 spiral balance, which is compatible with a handful of brackets but we commonly recommend the 17-031. See the options under the related items section of the balance product page to determine which options would fit best on your sash. Take a look at these parts, as well as the guide below.
