Spiral balance replacements; replace pivot shoes

A quick learner from Denver says:
My spiral balances on 7 tilt windows are plastic tubes and there is no tip. There is a circular guide in the channel (IMG_0226) that will slide in the channel.

The pivot shoe is 17/32 thick x 1 1/4" x 2" (15-015?)

I have 7 windows with 4 spiral balances each so I assume that I will need 28 of each.

Do you carry a sash stop that would work for me (see IMG_0234). It is 2 1/2" long.

Thanks

Thanks for posting. I can't see your pivot shoe in your pictures, I'm afraid, so I can't confirm if the 15-015 is a match. The dimensions certainly seem to match up. Seeing a picture of it out of the window will let us be a little more certain.

As for the balances, check the diameter of the outer plastic tube. I suspect it will be 5/8" or 9/16". If so, I recommend our Series 600 spiral balance. To determine the color tip, you'll need to weigh your sash on a scale. We have charts on each Series 600 store page that shows you how much weight each color tip can support

I'm afraid we do not have a replacement for the sash stop.

Thanks for the new pictures. I recommend our 15-046 pivot shoe. It's a hair thicker, but service technicians don't find that to be a problem. For the balance, see our Series 600 spiral balance. You will need the length of the tube and the color of the end bearing. Look inside the tube where the spiral comes out for the color bearing, you should be able to make it out. Please also note that our tubes are metal, not plastic, but it should still work the same. I'd also recommend a charging tool like our 75-006. This will be helpful for installation. I'd also recommend reviewing the videos and guides we have on the right side of this page for further insight on how this hardware works.
