Spiral balance suggestion

Home Owner from Pittsburgh
Good afternoon. I am reaching out for some assistance as I am attempting to replace the spiral balances in my windows as well as possibly the pivot shoes. Being that my spiral balances do not have a colored tip, I am not sure which product would fit my windows. They are 28 inches long and 5/8 thick. I've included some pictures for reference. Also, in your opinion do you think my pivot shoes need replaced as well? I have a total of 12 windows that need replaced so before I start tearing them all apart, I want to make sure I have the correct materials. Any assistance and information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

We've used the 15-129 pivot shoe for similar Napco windows in the past. Keep in mind that the height of the pivot shoe is not as important as the width and thickness. You also only need to replace the shoes if the originals are damaged in some way.

The spiral balance resembles the (5/8") S600-28. You'll need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight. We also recommend the charging tool, 75-006, to charge the balance and help with installation. Thank you.
