Spiral window balance weights

Following your guides, I have 3/8" diameter 30" spiral window balances. They have no colored tip. But they are Series 400. And I weighed the window sash. They are running 17 lb. Should I get the red or the green tip replacements?

Both the Red and Green strength options are rated to support a 17-pound sash. I would go with the red tip but it is ultimately a personal preference. Thanks for posting!
