Spring Balances

Question

Hi, I am looking for spring balances for my Non Tilt windows in a 2006 block home in Florida. They are big and heavy windows (68"x52" approx)
The Stamp reads " UB 28D" from what I can tell. See photo. The lengh of just the metal is 29"
Need to replace balances for 4 windows.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Take a look at the S380-29, S385-29, and S378-29 balances. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom shoe so you'll have to measure as shown below.

Your 28D stamp doesn't line up with our options so you will have to weigh the window sash to determine the correct stamp option. There's a chart under the S380-29, S385-29, and S378-29 product descriptions that you can use as a reference for what option to select.
