Food afternoon, I need help finding the following Spring balance.
The only description that I found is: P/T # 5737877

Hello! Looks like you have the old rod-type balance. These aren't made anymore, but the good news is that you can use one of our modern channel balances as an alternative. The only catch is that it does take a little handiwork to get operational.
Your first step before you do anything else is to measure the diameter of the spring. If it's 1/2", then you can use our Series 795 as a replacement. The video below will walk you through the project point by point.
