Hi Scott, thank you for posting,

The balance assembly resembles the 15-177 pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 152 coil springs. Please review the dimensions below to confirm a good fit!

The coil springs should have markings stamped into the metal that indicates the weighted options needed, but if not, we will need to know the weight of the window sash to move forward.

If new covers are needed, see the 15-143 bushing, 15-144 bushing cap and 15-145 support barrel. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

This part is the coil spring cover and coils. We do not have an exact match for this cover. The best we can provide that are compatible with the Series 152 coil springs is the 15-143 bushing, 15-144 bushing cap and 15-145 support barrel for a new cover per coil.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I do not understand see how that is possible , I am referring to what's in the 2nd and third picture it it screws into 2 holes a bout the same height as top of bottom sash , when I pulled out metal strip on bottom of piece the small piece fell out, I assume this is holding a spring of some sort, I have referred to a mother window and cannot tell the window will not stay open is the issue thank you

It appears that the coil springs have separated from the pivot shoe that is shown at the bottom of the window channel.

The plastic part in the second and third picture is the coil cover and there should be coil springs under this cover. I would recommend removing this part to confirm if there is damage to the coil springs themselves.

We do not carry this exact cover. If it is undamaged there is a chance you can reuse with new Series 152 coil springs. But if it is damaged, the best we can provide as a replacement is the bushings and barrels that I mentioned above. The 15-145 barrel goes inside the coil spring itself and then the 15-143 bushing and 15-144 bushing cap goes over the coil. You would need this setup per spring as it appears that the window uses at least two coil springs per side of the window sash. Again, I would recommend removing the original setup to assess which parts are broken.

If you find that the springs are damaged, they should have markings stamped into the metal that indicates the weighted options needed, but if not, we will need to know the weight of the window sash to move forward.

Hi Scott, no problem!

If there is no opening in the window channel for removing, take a look at the cutout method below to see what you think!
