Hi there!

We'd be happy to help, but could you turn your pivot shoe over so that we can see the front of it? We would like to know your pivot shoe's thickness and width as well. If we can identify the pivot shoe, that will tell us the coils and accessories that you'll need.

Thank you!

It appears that your original pivot shoe is no longer being made. We suggest our 15-199 pivot shoe which uses the Series 160 and Series 165 coil springs as a replacement. The coil springs aren't screwed on but hook together. The top coil spring would hook into the lower coil spring cut out hole and the bottom spring would hook into the top hole of the pivot shoe. Look it over and see what you think.

You can see detailed photos, dimensions, details, and a price breakdown by following the links I provided in my previous response.

Thanks for the info but how do I work out what size I need ? And what's the difference between the 160 and 165

The difference is that the Series 160 coil springs measure 1/2" thick and the Series 165 measures 3/8" thick. You'll need to measure your coils to see which one you need.

To determine the appropriate coil spring weight, you'll need to remove and weigh your window sash on a scale and divide the weight by how many total springs you have in the window. For example, if you had four springs total (two on each side) and a 12 pound sash, you would want four 3 pound springs.

Let me know if that helps.
