Squeaky noise

If you have lubricated your balance and it's still squeaking during operation, then it strongly indicates that the balances are near the end of their lifespan and will need to be replaced.

I'm happy to assist, but I'll need a bit more information. To start, I need you to remove an undamaged balance and show me a clear photo of the bottom end, specifically the pivot shoe attached there. Seeing it removed will be essential since too many important details are obscured while it's in the frame.

I'd also like a clearer shot of the hole where the hook installs.

Lastly, please tell me how many balances in total you want to buy. I have a suspicion that this may need to be a custom order, so we should get quantity now just to be safe.

Thank you. With the shoe in the frame, I'm afraid I can't tell what size it might be. These come in different widths and I want to make sure we get you the right size for this application. Can you at least tell me if it's 1-1/4" wide or 1" wide? Make sure that you only measure it after its removed.

To summarize how we're making them, it will be an S795-27 but with the top clip swapped out for our 15-198 hook.

For the weatherstripping, this appear to match our 58-183. Just make sure that the dimensions all line up before you purchase it, since there are other bubble seal types that share this same style but in different sizes.
