Stamp Option and Top Sash Guide Identification

A contractor from Orange Park, FL says:
Hello,

I need help identifying the sash weight range on this balance. I have a house where I am replacing the balances in 8 windows. 7 window sashes are 34" and 1 is 46". All of the use te same type of 29" balance and I believe it is the series 380. See photos. There is only most of the balances have no marking and a couple have 28C on them. See photos.

The top sash guide is black with a 1" wide top and is 1-3/4" long for a 1/2" track. See photos. A replacement doesn't need to be black, but I could locate a replacement on your site.

I have more photos, but can only upload five.

Thanks for you help,

Richard

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for posting, Richard. If your old stamp reads "28C" then you can probably use our 2830 option, but you should probably weigh your sash on a scale to be 100% sure. That's the only real way to confirm. We have a chart on the S380-29 store page that tells you exactly how much weight each option supports.

For the top sash guide, see our 18-180.
