Stanley 48" four panel bi-fold mirror closet door hdwr

Handy Person from Bakersfield, CA

This set of metal frame doors has a top & bottom track, which grabs & sticks on the bottom, especially when closing.

I removed the doors & tracks to find 2 bottom (nylon/plastic?) pivots and bottom roller guides very worn.Is the bottom track necessary (I'd like to remove it altogether)? Is there a bracket available to hold the bottom pivot (I'd like 2 please)? The 7/8" diameter Roller guides sit in the track and a snap pin pops into the center.

I'd like to replace 2 roller guides, and replace the 2 track anchor pivot holders with jamb mounted brackets (if available). My 97yr old Mom and I thank you!

The round roller guides shown here look like they'd be a match for our 21-174 and the pivot holders are our 23-407. The adjusting bottom pin would be the 23-113 but for the corner bottom jamb bracket, you could consider our 23-316. You will need to raise the doors high with the 23-113 door pivot because the weight of the mirrors might drag not having a bottom track. Also, you might need the 23-112 spring loaded top pivots to keep the doors attached to the 21-174 roller guides. Look over the specifications for these parts and see what you think.
