I have noticed that all my upper sashes use the 26-412 cast pivit bar and the lower sashes use 26-040 steel pivit bars. many of the upper bars have broken when I have taken the windows out. Is there a "steel" replacement picit bar I can use that would have the same screw hole spacing as my 26-412 cast bars?

Hi, Mike. Unfortunately, we don't have a steel version of the 26-412. That said, we will do our best to look into it for you and see if we can find something that matches those specifications. Please bear with us a little longer while we research it.
I wasn't able to find a pivot bar that matches your specifications, either. You might be able to use our 26-083 pivot bar as a replacement but it will depend on the screw hole position. Please compare the screw hole you use on your current pivot bar to the two holes on the 26-083. Only one needs to match.
