I ordered (30) of the 15-194 1" T lock balance shoe, but they are not quite the same as the originals. The balance is stamped 26C and the end is concave

Will changing the complete balance work?
it appears that the t lock will fit but is the indent in the balance necessary

Unfortunately, your original balance is no longer made. You would need to replace the whole thing with the Series 795 channel balance. Keep in mind that the Series 795 comes with the wider 15-195 by default, but since you already have the 15-194 shoe you can just pop the default shoe off and pop the 15-194 on.
