Assuming you have a clip that matches our 16-002, the only way to remove an old one is to break it. There is no trick or way around it, unfortunately. The only one has to break to come out. Just be very careful not to hurt yourself or damage the frame.

To install the 16-002, first drop in the long U-shape lip into the bottom hole, then swing up and snap in the top lip into the top hole. Please note that once it is in, it is locked in and won't come out without breaking it.
