Tension cord replacement

A quick learner from California says:
One of the tension cords in our window has shredded and then broke. The piece inside the window with the spring has the following stamp on it: 20 4 EP CALDWELL. We don't need the tension arm, just a replacement cord. Can you please tell me how to order the correct part?

Thank you so much!
Meg

Hi, Meg.

I'm afraid the pulley cord cannot be repaired or replaced so you'd need a whole new balance. I recommend our S380-21 or S385-21 channel balance, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. The Series 380 comes attached with a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 comes with a 1-3/32" deep shoe. You'll need to measure as shown in the diagram below to see which one matches up best. You will also need the 2040 strength option, based on your 20 4 stamp.
