The balancer I just received is 3/8 and my balancer measured 1/2 " will I still be able to use the 3/8 ?

My fault in ordering the wrong size but can I still use the smaller diameter rod or should I send them back ,I bought 6 of them.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, no--using the narrower Series 900 Spiral Balances for a window meant for the 5/8" diameter Series 600 Spiral Balances could result in the 'skinnier' balances breaking or snapping. View our Return Policy here. If the outer tube is 17" long and about 5/8" in diameter, then see our S600-17 instead.
